I can’t believe it’s September already! I’m looking forward to cooler weather, hunting season and more matches at GRPRC.

September 20th we will have our next NRL Hunter match. The rain has substantially cut down on fire activity in our region so I am hoping that the threat of fire and smokey conditions has subsided until next fire season. For those of you who got discount codes from the canceled match in July be sure to get registered with those! Don’t forget that you have a 25% off code on top of a free match if you haven’t already used it. We will do our RO shoot on Saturday if you’d like to help out and RO Sunday so submit a request if you would like. I’m hoping that by offering RO’s a chance to shoot without having to take an extra day off will mean more people have an opportunity to attend. October 23rd-25th we will host the “Night Moves” Sniper Challenge. This will be a teams only match, a suppressors only match and we will have a night shoot on the 24th into the wee hours of the 25th. We do have a limited number of night vision and thermal devices we can loan out as well as rifles that will be set up to shoot the night stages with. But we are encouraging people to bring their own night vision setups if they own them. We will also be giving away some prizes at this match including some NV/Thermal gear so you won’t want to miss out! This is a great beginner introduction to the Sniper Competition format as well as a good introduction to shooting as a team. We will be doing a dinner and a long match brief on Friday night as well as an equipment familiarization for people who are new to night shooting.
